A Moving Wall Army

Right before Christmas, Joe Frost shared a word from the Lord in the Daily Prayer Furnace. It summarizes many of the words God has given me and our team over the years, and I thought it would be good to start 2026 with it. Thanks Joe.

In need of a leader and discipline.

They are preparing for battle.
Ready or not,
For the enemy approaches.

They have weapons at their disposal.
They have training.
But they are not together as uniform.

THIS IS BECAUSE THEY ARE MY ARMY
AND THIS IS HOW I FIGHT
Not with uniformity.
Not with impersonal robotic discipline.
But as a stone wall,
Formed with irregular parts,
Expertly fit together.
For how I see is perfect.

They are the wall of the LORD YOUR GOD
Which will never be breached
Or put to shame
It will hold out the enemy forever.

But it is not in one place
Protecting a single place
Or object;
But as my temple in the desert was ever-moving
And on its way to the land of promise.

How do you prepare this moving-wall army?
There is no wisdom of man to do so.
It is only by the Way of the Lord.

My army will recognize my orders.
They are impossible to lead in the wisdom of man.
They are the ones abandoned
by the ‘best practices’ of ministry.

Go and gather these lambs
My special ones
In
For they know my voice.
They will not be manipulated or forced
FOR THEY ARE MY MOVING-WALL ARMY!
