A Shift in Time.
Thank you for your prayers.
Two weeks from today, we will be gathering in Kingston, New Hampshire. There are twelve spaces left, and registration will be cut off on October 1. It is a catered affair, and so we need to be strict about attendance and registrations. There will be no walk-ins at the door. If you have been thinking about attending, this is your chance.

Since the Covid crisis, I have received a lot of requests to have an in-person gathering.
I spend 15-20 hours a week on Zoom, and our average meeting spans 6-8 time zones.

Turning a virtual community into an in-person gathering was going to be tricky, and I had to figure out a lot of details. Last March when we began putting this together in earnest, one thing was clear, this was not going to be a conference. My ministry is the herding of cats. Cats are not interested in sitting and listening to somebody talk for two days.

As I listened, people told me they were burned out on big names, loud music, and hyped up events. So we are renting a concert grand piano, no band, and only minimal use of the sound system. The piano company gave us a free upgrade. God wants you to hear the instrument He created, the human voice. All of the teaching is coming from members of our community.
We are going off screen, no phones, no projection. Printed programs.
Belonging House began around “fabulous dinner parties.” We are having real, home made food, not from a catering company.
And several of our Belonging House family are bringing their creations to share with the gathering.

And most important of all, we are going to get serious about two things: learning to listen to God in dangerous times, and getting set free from trauma and the blockages that keep up us from experiencing the flow of grace and creativity in our lives.
And the coolest part of this event is how God provided. At this point all the major expenses are covered.
God pays for what He orders.
Like I said, we only have twelve spots left. This is going to be more retreat than conference, and if you are thinking of attending, you only have a few days to register.
Thanks.
