For the next few weeks
I am going to talk about the tools
we use to make disciples.

If you are a disciple of Jesus Christ,
you never graduate.
You learn the foundations
and then you continue to grow
as you master the spiritual life.

Belonging House International
is called to make disciples.
It just so happens,
that our disciples are artists,
creative people,
and those who love them.
The goal is to make people who go
and explode the light and life of God
in places where God is not invited.

You cannot do that without the life
and power God flowing through you.

Apart from Jesus
you can do nothing.
Jesus is the vine.
Our job is to help you get connected.

In her book Chasing the Dragon,
Jackie Pullinger tells the story of how
praying in tongues for fifteen minutes every day
transformed her ministry in Hong Kong.
In 2006
we followed her example,
and prayed together in tongues for fifteen minutes
every Thursday.

Five years ago,
we started doing this practice every weekday on Zoom.

The "heart" of Belonging House is now
the Daily Prayer Furnace.
We stop every day and pray together in tongues
for fifteen minutes.
We have been doing this for five years.
The Prayer Furnace is the power behind all the answered prayers,
books,
discipleship groups,
and miracles of healing and provision.

But if you can't,
You can join us at noon your time,
wherever you are,
for fifteen minutes.
If you don't speak in tongues,
that's okay,
all you need to do is stop,
focus your thoughts on Jesus
and practice His Presence.
We want our community
scattered across thirty-seven countries
to be connected to Jesus
the True Vine.
And if you are connected to him,
we are connected to one another.

As I said,
the Daily Prayer Furnace is now
the heart of our community,
and it's where God is moving.

O Holy Spirit, come like a mighty rushing wind and
Awaken us out of our complacency, our apathy, and our indifference.
Disturb us,
For we are too content to let people go on
not knowing you.
Penetrate the closed gates of our hearts
and make us live again.
O Holy Spirit,
create among us a mighty Christian revolution
And cast the fear of the unknown out of our lives.
