Witchcraft in the Church

Thank you for your prayers.

I tell people
to listen to the Lord
and do what he tells you.

That is not a nice slogan.

It is about doing things
you would not normally do.

I like to keep the Friday emails
inspiring and uplifting.
For the next six weeks
I am going to talk about the battle we face.

God asked me to teach a series witchcraft in the Church:
on how Christians agree with,
and also get seduced by witchcraft.

We are in a time of unprecedented war,
and artists are on the frontline of this war.
It is largely a war between
the natural religion of humanity,
and the Kingdom of God.
That natural religion
is witchcraft.

Witchcraft is the attempt
to gain power.
It is usually about
power over other people
through control
manipulation
and domination.

Those who get seduced into witchcraft
learn that they can get the desired outcome
if they play with the spiritual realm,
and so
this desire for power
ultimately leads to forbidden activities.
The most powerful activities
that witches use
are curses,
hexes,
sexual immorality,
and the shedding
of innocent blood.
The killing of children
is the highest form of witchcraft.

When I was in college I was told again and again
that there is no such thing
as "the slippery slope."
They were wrong.
All you have to do is read the paper.
We are living in a time that could end our civilization.

In short,
any form of spiritual practice
that does not take you through
the Incarnation,
Cross, and Resurrection of Jesus,
is a short cut.
And every short cut
is
demonic.

It can be a religious system or a political strategy.
It can be a prayer you found "works."
It can be anything
that says
the end justifies the means.
And initially
they all look really good
until they don't.

Many of our fathers and mothers in the faith
understood the nature of witchcraft.
If you work or live in the arts
you need to understand this
because the arts and culture have been targeted
since the 1960's and that terrain is now enemy territory.

God give us wisdom and give us strength.

The Holy Cross be my light.
Let not the dragon be my guide.
Be gone Satan,
and do not tempt me with your vanities.
Evil are the things you offer,
and may you drink your own poison.
Amen.

Lord, Help me see everything the enemy doesn't want me to see.
