Do you know why
Satan and his minions
hate the artist?

You have a unique ability
to see what is not seen,
hear what is not heard,
and create what has never been.
You are just like God.

In other words,
you have a greater ability for faith.
I did not say you have more faith.
I said you have greater ability for faith.

Faith is the evidence of things not seen.

You can see things that are not there.
And this is the most powerful gift on earth.

It is the artist and creator,
that God uses to release revelation,
blessings,
and prosperity.

So Satan is very tricky.
He works on you from birth
to believe the lie
that what you do is worthless,
and that the artist is made to starve.

He sends you trauma to lock up your creative gifts.
And if he is lucky,
he gets you into art school
where you are brainwashed with the spirit of the age:
That up is down, wrong is right,
and your practice is more important than your product.

If Satan can get you to believe
that resources are finite,
and poverty is inevitable,
and that envying and destroying
really productive people is a virtue,
then you are no longer his enemy,
you are no longer a threat,
you are his helper.

Jesus, on the other hand,
saw what the Father was doing,
and did it.
And you, artist and creative person,
can do the same thing.

You can sit and rest in Jesus.
You can hold out your hand
and see the thing that God wants to do,
and then you can ask God to do it.
And when you do this,
Jesus says God will do what ever you ask.

That's faith.
And it is powerful.

Many people in our community are facing big battles right now.
Let me pray for you.
Lord, we are in an epic war right now
between worldviews, systems, and civilizations.
Thank you for counting us worthy to live in times like these.
I pray for every artist under the Belonging House roof,
that we would see what the enemy does not want us to see,
and be aware of every lie we believe that keeps us from the Kingdom of God.
May we experience your blessings and abundance,
and the ability to see what the Father is doing,
and translate it into a living work of art.

and uphold us
by the mighty name of Jesus.
